Founded on 10th May, 1970 by Nicholas Sikavitsas, Tullamarine Bus Lines has continued to grow and to provide the best possible service to passengers in the North West of Melbourne.

Nicholas migrated to Australia in 1956 and entered the bus industry as a bus driver, later entering into a partnership known as Kastoria Bus Lines. In 1970 the partnership dissolved and Tullamarine Bus Lines was formed.

From humble beginnings of just 7 buses and six employees operating the 477,478 & 479 routes we now employ 85 people and operate 8 routes. We have also recently moved into our new premises at 9 Louis Street, Airport

The day to day operations have now been passed onto Nick's sons. Nick is still very much involved and is at work most days checking that everything is running smoothly and professionally.

Tullamarine Bus Lines prides itself on being a family owned and run business understanding that it's the little things that count. Service & safety have always been its number one priority.

Contracted to the Victorian Government we now operate 8 Metropolitan bus routes, including 2 smart bus routes in conjunction with Grenda's and Dyson's, a demand responsive service in Gowanbrae together with school services. We currently operate with a fleet of Mercedes buses that have been our chosen vehicles since 1984 when we purchased 5 new Model 1316 buses.
